Stance Environmental Products Include:
RDP Envessel Pasteurisation
The RDP Envessel Pasteurisation process uses a combination of lime and electrical heat to raise the temperature in biosolids above 70oC for 30 minutes to destroy pathogenic organisms. The lime also raises the pH above 12 for 24 hours to prevent reinfection. The Grade A stabilised product called Impruval is suitable for application to agricultural lands as a liming material.
RDP Evaporator
The RDP Envessel Pasteurisation process has been upgraded to include an evaporator after the lime stabilisation process. The RDP Evaporator uses lime and electrical heat to achieve Grade A stabilisation, and then uses a gas flat ben drier to evaporate sufficient moisture water to reduce the total volume of product to be transported from site. The solids content is typically 65%, and can be varied to optimise freight and processing costs. The drier is simply for moisture removal, it is not required for pathogen reduction. The RDP Evaporator provides the combined benefits of lime stabilisation, and low cost thermal drying.
RDP Tekkem Slaker
The RDP Tekkem Slaker produces a high quality milk of lime for use in industrial processes. The Tekkem Slaker is fully enclosed and process controlled to produce a consistent quality product.
Cambi Thermal Hydrolysis
The Cambi process uses steam and pressure to disintegrate the microbial cells in waste activated sludge’s. Waste activated sludge’s are typically resistant to anaerobic digestion, and difficult to dewater. The key benefits of the Cambi process include:
- increases digestibilty in anaerobic digesters (60% COD destruction),
- increases CH4 yield,
- increases solids loading rate to digesters (8-10% solids)
- reduces
- destroys pathogenic organisms
- reduces total sludge volume
- increases dewaterability of final cake to 30-35%
RCM Digesters
RCM Digesters designs and builds anaerobic digesters to capture biogas from animal manure. The gas is used to produce electricity with an engine generator. The waste heat is recovered to both heat the digester and reduce the use of oil-fired water heating required on the farm. These projects assist the farm in consuming less heating fuel and displace electricity on the grid. This keeps tonnes of carbon dioxide pollution out of the air.
